Seal area needed = (length + height + 2") × (width + height + 2").
Tunnel opening = width + 4" (2" each side) × height + 2".
Speed: semi-automatic L-sealers approx. 10–15 packs/min, L-sealer and tunnel combinations approx. 10–12 packs/min (both per Maripak); hood sealers up to about 6 packs/min (rule of thumb). Above 15 packs/min: automatic L-sealers or side sealers (Impack Pro up to 60, ProMotion up to 110 cycles/min per Maripak, for an A4-size package).
