Omcan FAQ

What is the difference between Turbovac and Omcan vacuum sealers?

Turbovac machines are made in the Netherlands, use Busch vacuum pumps and come in tabletop, mobile and double chamber versions. Omcan's own models cover tabletop, floor and double chamber machines with digital controls. Country of origin and certifications are listed per model on each product page.

Which Omcan machine packs liquids?

All chamber vacuum sealers can pack liquids, because the pressure drops evenly inside and outside the bag. The Omcan 48246 Trento holds bags upright in a vertical chamber for soups, sauces and marinades, in bags up to about 3 liters.

Where do Omcan products ship from?

Omcan products ship from Omcan's U.S. warehouses by parcel carrier or LTL freight; freight is quoted before you pay. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and report it with photos within 24 hours of delivery, and shortages within 3 business days.

Omcan products are non-returnable unless Omcan approves the return in writing. The full conditions are shown on each product page and in our Return and Refund Policy. Please check the model and specifications carefully before you order, and ask us if anything is unclear.

Which warranty applies to Omcan machines?
