View details & quotePallet shrink systems speed up and standardize pallet shrink wrapping beyond a hand-held gun. Ripack's systems cover every step: the Multicover sealers and dispenser make covers to size on site, the Turbopack V2 shrinks a pallet in one walk around it, and the Ripaflam burner brings automated propane heat to fixed installations.

When pallet volumes grow, a heat gun alone becomes the bottleneck, and covers in many sizes fill the storeroom. Ripack's pallet shrink systems address both: they make covers to size and shrink them faster and more consistently.
The Multicover 955 is a manual sealer: the film is held between two jaws like a clamp and sealed with a Ripack heat gun. It needs no electrical power and seals up to about 4 × 20 mil (4 × 500 µm) over 55″ (1,400 mm).
The Multicover 960 E seals by adjustable electrical impulse with 57″ (1,450 mm) double sealing bars, up to about 4 × 8 mil (4 × 200 µm). It needs a power outlet but no flame at the sealer.
The Multicover 935 is a mobile reel dispenser for up to four rolls, film up to 70.9″ (1,800 mm) wide and 463 lb (210 kg) in total. It combines with both sealers.
The Turbopack V2 is a mobile propane shrink column in six heights from 2.62 to 10.5 ft, with 75 to 280 kW. The operator walks it once around the pallet; per Ripack the cover is shrunk on all sides and the top in about 40 seconds. Choose the column height to match your tallest loads, because the column shrinks the whole side in one pass. It needs 55″ (140 cm) of clearance around the pallet, so plan a free area for shrinking.
The Ripaflam is an automated propane burner with electronic ignition and flame control for fixed shrink stations in a packaging line. It runs on 220 VAC; Ripack offers an RPC200 version for 110 V.
For a few pallets a day, a heat gun and pre-made hoods may be enough. Once pallet heights vary or volumes grow, a Multicover sealer saves film and storage space. For many pallets per shift, the Turbopack cuts shrinking time and gives a consistent result.
Many warehouses set up a fixed cover station: the Multicover 935 holds two to four film rolls of different widths, the 955 or 960 E seals the cover to the height of the pallet, and the finished cover goes straight onto the load. Next to it, a Ripack heat gun on a cylinder trolley or a Turbopack shrinks the cover. With a pallet raiser such as the Calpack, the operator pulls the film under the pallet before shrinking, so the cover holds the load to the pallet. This setup keeps the film, the tools and the gas supply in one place and shortens the walk between steps.
The Multicover 955 needs a footprint of about 67″ × 39″; the 960 E measures 77.6″ × 22.8″ × 56.3″. The Turbopack needs a propane supply and room to walk around the pallet. Plan the film storage and the path from the cover station to the pallets.
Propane heat tools are operated only by trained personnel, following Ripack's instructions and local fire and gas codes. Keep the work area free of flammable material, store cylinders according to local rules, and check hoses and connections before each use.
Ripack products ship from Ripack's facilities in the Chicago area, Illinois, by UPS or LTL freight. Larger systems such as the Multicover sealers and the Turbopack ship by LTL freight; freight is quoted in writing before you pay.

It lets you make pallet shrink covers on site from a roll of PE shrink film, sized to each pallet. The 935 holds the film rolls, and the 955 or 960 E seals the film into a cover. You stop stocking pre-made hoods in many sizes and use only the film each pallet needs.
The 955 seals with a Ripack heat gun and needs no electricity, which suits areas without an outlet. The 960 E seals by electrical impulse with double sealing bars and needs a power outlet but no flame at the sealer. The 955 handles thicker film per Ripack's data.
Per Ripack, the Turbopack V2 shrinks a pallet cover on all four sides and the top in about 40 seconds while the operator walks it once around the pallet. The real time depends on the film, the load and the column height chosen for the pallet.
Choose a column at least as tall as your tallest loads. Ripack offers six heights: 800 (2.62 ft), 1200 (3.94 ft), 1600 (5.25 ft), 2000 (6.56 ft), 2400 (7.87 ft) and 3200 (10.5 ft). The heat output rises with the height, from 75 kW to 280 kW.
The Ripaflam is an automated propane burner for fixed shrink stations, for example in a packaging line. It has electronic ignition and flame control, a piloted gas electrovalve and a regulator. This version runs on 220 VAC; Ripack offers the RPC200 for 110 V.
