How to Choose the Right Ripack Spare Part

Ripack guns are built so worn parts can be replaced instead of replacing the whole gun. This page explains how the parts are grouped and how to make sure you order the one that fits your model.

Check your gun model

Ripack parts are model-specific. The Ripack 3000 and the 2500 share some parts, such as the Ripack 132054 spark plug, but have their own handles, triggers and nozzles. Look at the fit list on each part before ordering.

Ignition

The piezo igniter creates the spark; the spark plug delivers it at the burner; the electrical kits connect them. The Ripack 131003 piezo igniter fits the 2000, 2200, 2500 and 3000; the 131072 version is used with extension poles.

Burner and gas path

Combustion nozzles, jets, jet bearers, gas taps and aluminium gas tubes carry and burn the gas. The Ripack 249064 jet bearer set includes the bearer, jet and jet cover nut for the 3000 and the Ripaflam.

Hoses and connectors

The Ripack 250072 UL gas hose is 24.6 ft (7.5 m) long with collars and connections. Swivel connectors stop the hose from twisting, and double connectors join hose sections.

Handle and trigger

Triggers, half-handles, spacers, pawl and spring and bumpers wear with daily handling, and a loose handle makes a gun harder to control. They are available separately for the 2500 and the 3000.

Small parts and tools

Screws, the 3 mm Allen key, Molykote grease and the Ripack tool bag complete the set for maintenance. Small parts are easy to lose during a repair, so ordering a few spares together with a larger part saves a second shipment.

Ordering

Order original parts by the manufacturer's part number. If you are not sure which part you need, send us the machine model, the serial number if available, and a photo of the worn part; we check the fit with the manufacturer before you pay.

Signs that a part needs replacing

A gun that does not light reliably usually points to the igniter, the spark plug or the electrical connection; check the gas supply first. An uneven or yellow flame can point to a worn or dirty combustion nozzle or jet. A trigger that sticks or a handle that moves should be replaced for safe handling. Cracked, kinked or stiff hoses must be replaced right away.

Before you order

Note the gun model and, if possible, the serial number and the part number from the parts list in the Ripack instruction booklet. Compare the photo on the part page with the part in your hand. If anything differs, ask us before ordering; we check the fit with Ripack.

Parts for the Ripaflam

The Ripaflam automated burner shares some parts with the Ripack 3000, such as the 248110 combustion nozzle, the 249064 jet bearer set and the 250072 gas hose. Check the fit list on each part.

Recommended spares

For guns in daily use, keep an igniter, a spark plug and a combustion nozzle for your model on the shelf. A hose with collars is a sensible spare for sites with several guns.

Safety

Repairs on propane equipment should be done by trained personnel, following Ripack's instructions and local fire and gas codes. Disconnect the gas supply and let the gun cool before changing parts.
