How to Choose the Right Spare Part

A spare part only helps if it is the right one. The fastest way to the correct part is the manufacturer's part number together with your machine model. This page explains how to find it and what to keep on hand.

Start with the machine model

Each spare part lists the machines it fits. For Ripack guns, check the model on the gun: Ripack 2000, 2200, 2500 or 3000. Many parts fit several models, such as the Ripack 131003 piezo igniter, while others fit only one, such as the Ripack 133531 half-handle for the 2500.

Use the part number

The part number is the safest way to order. It is listed on every part page and in the Replacement Parts tab of each machine page. Order original parts by the manufacturer's part number. If you are not sure which part you need, send us the machine model, the serial number if available, and a photo of the worn part; we check the fit with the manufacturer before you pay.

Ripack ignition parts

Igniters, spark plugs and electrical kits are the parts that make the spark when the gun starts. If the gun no longer lights reliably, these are the first parts to check, together with the gas supply.

Ripack burner parts

Combustion nozzles, jets and gas feed tubes carry and burn the gas. The Ripack 248110 combustion nozzle fits the Ripack 2200, 3000 and the Ripaflam; the 231233 nozzle fits the 2500.

Hoses and connectors

The UL gas hose, swivel connectors and double connectors carry gas from the cylinder to the gun. A swivel connector lets the hose turn freely, so it does not twist while you walk around a load, which also reduces wear on the hose. Check hoses before each use and replace damaged ones right away.

Handles, triggers and bumpers

Handles, triggers, spacers and bumpers wear with daily handling, especially on guns that are set down on concrete floors. Replacing them keeps the gun comfortable and safe to hold.

Heat gun maintenance

Most Ripack part orders follow a simple routine: check the gas hose and connections before each use, keep the nozzle clean, and replace the igniter or spark plug when the gun no longer lights on the first try. Guns used every day benefit from a short weekly check by the person responsible for the wrapping area. Note the date of each part change, so you see which parts wear fastest in your operation and can keep the right spares.

Maripak TMC Pro kit

The Maripak SPKTMCv1 kit contains recommended spare parts for the TMC Pro 5844-M and 8065-M, 22 line items per Maripak. The list of contents is available on request.

What to keep on the shelf

Keep the parts that wear fastest: igniters, spark plugs and nozzles for heat guns, and the recommended kit for Maripak machines. One spare set prevents a long stop while a part ships.

Safety

Repairs on propane equipment should be done by trained personnel, following Ripack's instructions and local fire and gas codes. Disconnect the gas supply before changing parts.

Parts for other brands

Parts for AIE, AmeriVacS and Omcan machines, such as heating elements, Teflon tape, gaskets and seal bars, are available on request. Send us the model and serial number, and we request the part number and price from the manufacturer.
