Shrink cover (gusseted tubing): face = pallet length + 2", gusset = pallet width + 2", length = load height + half the gusset + 6" to tuck under the pallet.
Film per pallet = 2 × (face + gusset) × cover length; per day × pallets per day.
Equipment (rule of thumb): up to about 20 pallets/day a Ripack heat gun; about 20–60 a heat gun with a Multicover to make covers; above about 60 the Turbopack column (approx. 40 s per pallet per Ripack). Turbopack column height at least the load height (columns 800–3200 mm).
Ripack tubing sizes: 44" × 44" and 50" × 42" (per Ripack).
