Which A.B. Sealer case sealer fits my cartons?

Uniform case sealers such as the SD-662 and SD-657 are set to one carton size at a time with two crank handles. Random case sealers such as the SR-655 and SR-659 adjust to each carton, for lines with mixed carton sizes. Send us your carton sizes and quantities, and we confirm the fit with your quote.

What is the difference between semi-automatic and fully automatic models?

On semi-automatic models such as the SD-662 and SR-655, the operator closes the top flaps before the carton enters. Fully automatic models such as the SD-657 and SR-659 close the top flaps themselves.

Do A.B. Sealer machines need compressed air?

Some do. Per A.B. Sealer, the SD-657, SR-655, SR-659, EG-6702, LT-601 and SD-750 require compressed air; the SD-662, SUS-662, TB-652, TB-660ST and SD-653FTB do not. Each product page lists the power and compressed air requirements.

How do A.B. Sealer machines ship?

A.B. Sealer machines ship by LTL freight (truck). Freight is quoted before you pay and stated in your written quote. Freight deliveries go to a business address with a loading dock or forklift, unless you order a liftgate, inside, residential or limited-access delivery, which are quoted before you pay.

What warranty applies to A.B. Sealer machines?

Per A.B. Sealer, the SD-662 comes with a one-year warranty that replaces covered parts. For the other models, the manufacturer's warranty applies and exact coverage is confirmed in writing with your quote. US Packing Equipment passes the manufacturer's warranty through to you and does not give a warranty of its own.

Case Sealers

For one carton size at a time: the semi-automatic SD-662 with side belt drives, its stainless steel version SUS-662, the TB-652 with top and bottom belt drives for heavy cases, and the fully automatic SD-657, which folds the top flaps itself, with its stainless steel version SUS-657. For mixed carton sizes: the random case sealers SR-655 (semi-automatic) and SR-659 (fully automatic), which adjust to each carton.

Special machines: the SD-653FTB packing and sealing station with top and bottom flap folders, the LT-601 L-clip sealer for clamshell-style cases, the TB-660ST side taper for tall, narrow cartons, the SD-750 for mailers and low cartons from 0.75″ tall, and the EG-6702 edge sealer, which tapes all four exposed edges at the top and bottom. Case Erectors

The CE-563 semi-automatic case erector and pack station folds the bottom flaps when the carton is placed in it, holds the carton while it is packed and sends it on with a foot pedal. It can stand in front of a top and bottom case sealer. See case erectors.
