Bulman A45 / A46 Jumbo Paper & Film Cutter

Description

The Bulman A45 jumbo cutter dispenses and cuts paper from rolls up to 18″ in diameter on a 3″ core. It mounts on a counter and, per Bulman, must be bolted down for safe use. The A46 is the same unit with a serrated blade, which Bulman recommends for stretch film, plastics and other non-paper materials.

The cutter is all steel with a gray baked powder coat. Its knee-action gravity cutting blade sits on arms that lock open for loading a new roll.

Per Bulman (bulmanproducts.com FAQ, October 2026), Bulman's paper dispensers, cutters and racks are guaranteed to perform as designed when used properly and without modification. Bulman does not give a fixed warranty period; any issue is handled case by case.

Warranty claims

Please contact us with your order number, the machine's serial number, a description of the problem, and photos or video. We will coordinate the claim with the manufacturer. The manufacturer decides whether the product will be repaired or replaced. Unless the manufacturer's warranty provides otherwise, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the equipment to the manufacturer for warranty service.

Ships from Bulman in Grand Rapids, Michigan, by parcel carrier or LTL freight. Freight is quoted before you pay.

Freight deliveries are made to a business address with a loading dock or forklift, unless you have ordered a liftgate, inside, residential or limited-access delivery. These services are charged extra and are quoted before you pay.

Inspection on delivery

Note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt or bill of lading before you sign it. Report any damage, defect, missing item or wrong item to us in writing, with photos, within 5 business days of delivery (for Ripack products: within 3 business days; Omcan: within 24 hours).

How do I order?

Click Request a Quote on the product page, use our contact form, or call +1 469-809-4363 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm CT). We reply with a written quote that confirms the price, shipping charges and estimated lead time. Once you accept the quote and we have received payment in full, we release your order to the manufacturer.

How do I pay?

Payment in full is due in advance, before we release your order to the manufacturer. We do not offer credit terms or payment on account. Sales tax is added where required by law. If your purchase is tax-exempt, for example for resale, please send us a valid exemption or resale certificate before you order.

What are typical lead times?

Lead times depend on the machine and its options. They are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, and we confirm the estimated lead time in writing with each quote. Transit time is added. If we cannot ship within the confirmed lead time, we notify you promptly, and you can cancel free of charge for a full refund at any time before your order ships.

How is the equipment shipped?

All equipment ships directly from the manufacturer, or for Omcan products from Omcan's U.S. warehouses, to your business or home address in the United States. Smaller machines ship by parcel carrier, for example FedEx. Larger machines ship by LTL freight, usually in a wooden crate. Ripack products ship from Ripack's facilities in the Chicago area, Illinois, by UPS or LTL freight; Multicover and Turbopack systems always ship by LTL freight. AIE products ship from AIE in City of Industry, California, by UPS or LTL freight; freight is quoted before you pay. Omcan products ship from Omcan's U.S. warehouses by parcel carrier or LTL freight; freight is quoted before you pay. Bulman products ship from Bulman in Grand Rapids, Michigan, by parcel carrier or LTL freight; freight is quoted before you pay. Do you offer a warranty?

Every machine is covered by its manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through to you. We do not offer a separate warranty of our own. The warranty terms are listed on each product page, for example a 2-year limited warranty on AmeriVacS sealers, a 10-year warranty on the Ripack 3000 heat gun and 1 year parts and labor on most Omcan machines. For Turbovac tabletop vacuum sealers from Omcan: Manufacturer warranty provided by Omcan. Exact coverage is confirmed in writing with your quote. Bulman gives no fixed warranty period; per Bulman, its paper dispensers, cutters and racks are guaranteed to perform as designed when used properly. For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and the machine's serial number, and we coordinate the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return a machine?

Machines are generally non-returnable, and the return rules of each manufacturer apply. Standard (non-custom) AmeriVacS machines include a 1-week evaluation trial. The trial must be requested within 7 calendar days after delivery, and the machine must be returned "as new" in appropriate packaging. A refund is issued only after the manufacturer has received and accepted the return, less all shipping and handling costs in both directions. Every return requires our written Return Authorization. Ripack products are non-returnable once delivered. AIE machines are non-returnable unless AIE approves the return in writing. Omcan products are non-returnable unless Omcan approves the return in writing; Omcan then charges a restocking charge of 35% or more. Bulman products are non-returnable unless Bulman authorizes the return in advance; per Bulman, a restocking charge may apply. Please inspect each delivery right away and report damage, defects or missing items in writing within 5 business days (Ripack products: within 3 business days; Omcan products: damage within 24 hours, missing items within 3 business days). Do you provide installation or training support?

Installation is not included in the machine price. For Maripak machines, installation and start-up by Maripak technicians is available and quoted separately. Other equipment should be installed and connected by qualified personnel following the manufacturer's instructions, including the required electrical supply and, where needed, compressed air. If you have technical questions before or after your purchase, contact us and we will get answers from the manufacturer.
